Hashbrown Waffles

Delicious hashbrown waffles that are simple to make and sure to delight the family. Make sure to thaw the potatoes before using and press the waffle lid down firmly to help hashbrowns stick together. This is our favorite waffle maker to use for these as it makes nice thin, crispy waffles.

Ingredients

  • 1 bag frozen hashbrowns 30 ounces
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil omit if oil free
  • 1 tbsp parsley optional
  • 1 tsp paprika optional
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Preheat waffle iron.
  • Thaw frozen hashbrowns in microwave.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine thawed hashbrowns and all other ingredients.
  • Spray waffle iron with cooking spray. Carefully spoon hashbrowns into waffle iron. Close lid and press down tightly. This step is critical to help hashbrowns stick together.
  • Cook on low heat until golden. Cooking times will vary depending on waffle maker. Serve with ketchup and enjoy!
