Chocolate Chip Cookies (Oil-Free)

Servings: 15 cookies
- 2 cups white whole wheat flour
- 1 cup walnuts ground fine in food processor (or blender)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup non-dairy milk
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed (flax meal)
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup non-dairy chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350F.
In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine together flour, ground walnuts, baking soda, and salt.
Add in maple syrup, milk, ground flaxseed, and vanilla. When combined, stir in chocolate chips last.
Bake 8 minutes, then remove from oven and place on cookie rack to cool. They will be soft when you remove them from the oven-that's how you want it!
