Vegan Banana Bread (WFPB Option)

Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 cups flour white or whole wheat
  • 1/3 cup date sugar can sub white sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup vegetable or canola oil sub applesauce if oil free
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3-4 overripe bananas, peeled & mashed
  • 1/4 cup non-dairy milk

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350F.
  • Mix all dry ingredients together. Add in wet ingredients and mix.
  • Pour into greased bread pan.
  • Bake 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the loaf comes out clean.
  • Remove from pan and transfer to a wire rack to cool.
